My name is Rory Hoelker. I was born and raised in a small farm town in Iowa. I graduated from Iowa State University in 1987 and moved to California where I got into real estate that same year. After teaming up with another young realtor, Russ Knapp, we began our rise to the top. From young agents in the early 90s we worked our way up and became brokers and owners of our own company in 1997. In 2005 we joined Avalar Real Estate and Mortgage Network and began quickly growing our offices.
I married my wife and her two children in 1990 and have enjoyed helping the kids grow into successful adults, while enjoying a great life with my wife Cris.
I have worked hard at balancing my success in the real estate world, and my family relationships. My step son Nick works with me as my Loan Division Manager, and my wife helps out in the office since retiring as a school teacher in 2005.
I have created this blog to highlight the real estate market in Anatolia. Anatolia is a growing new area with GREAT opportunities for first time home buyers, investors, or people looking to move up into a bigger home. It is located close to activities, shopping, schools, and is not too far out of the way.
